I waited until Tuesday morning to calmly download iOS 18 on the iPhone 15 Pro Max! which allowed me to repatriate the new system in just a few minutes. Since then! I have been enthusiastically testing the new features offered by Apple! starting with the customization of the home screen! which now offers welcome flexibility!
The redesigned home screen is one of the improvements in iOS 18! finally allowing users to place their apps wherever they want. This freedom of customization has been long awaited and brings the iOS experience closer to that of Android! while maintaining Apple’s fluidity. The look of the icons has also been redesigned! offering a more modern and consistent design across the entire system. The new Control Center in iOS 18 has been redesigned! offering a more intuitive and customizable interface. Mobile users can now freely add! remove! and rearrange controls according to their preferences! making access to frequently used functions faster than ever.
The Control Gallery makes it easy for iOS 18 users to discover they write a paper and give a speech about someone and add new controls to their Control Center. On the right! icons provide easy access to favorite shortcuts! music! Home! and network options. Awesome!
Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Hold
Small downside. It is important to note that Apple Intelligence! Apple’s new built-in AI feature! is not yet available in Switzerland and Europe. This temporary absence is due to regulatory considerations! as Apple works to ensure its AI complies with European data protection laws.
